Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 package (14.4 oz) graham crackers
  • 1/2 cup strawberry jam

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  3. Fold the whipped cream gently into the cream cheese mixture until well combined.
  4. Spread a thin layer of the cream cheese mixture at the bottom of a 9×13 inch dish.
  5. Place a layer of graham crackers over the cream cheese mixture.
  6. Spread a layer of strawberry jam over the graham crackers.
  7. Add a layer of sliced strawberries over the jam.
  8. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with the cream cheese mixture on top.
  9. Cover and refrigerate for at least 240 minutes, or overnight if possible.
  10. Before serving, garnish with additional strawberries if desired.

Notes

Allowing the cake to chill for at least 4 hours helps soften the graham crackers and enhances the flavors.
