Description
Impress your family with this rich and tender ribeye steak complemented by a luscious creamy garlic sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 ribeye steaks
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the steaks generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Add olive oil to the hot skillet, swirling it around to coat the bottom well. Sear the steaks for about 4-5 minutes on each side for that perfect medium-rare.
- Once seared, remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest on a plate for at least 5 minutes.
- In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant but not brown.
- Pour in the heavy cream and Worcestershire sauce, stirring to combine. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Drizzle the creamy garlic sauce over the steaks and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
For perfect doneness, use a meat thermometer aiming for 130-135°F for medium-rare steak.
