- 8 spring roll wrappers
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Mix the shrimp, shredded cabbage, shredded carrots, chopped green onions, soy sauce, and sesame oil in a large bowl.
- Lay a spring roll wrapper flat on a clean surface.
- Place a small amount of the filling in the center, leaving space to fold the sides.
- Fold the sides over the filling and roll tightly from the bottom up.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
- Gently place the rolled spring rolls into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove them from the oil and drain on paper towels.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
Don’t overstuff the wrappers, seal properly with water, and maintain the oil temperature for optimal frying.
