  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup pesto sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Start by cooking the pasta according to the package instructions. Once it’s al dente, drain it and set it aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook them until they turn tender, which should take about 3 to 4 minutes.
  3. Toss in the shrimp and cook until they turn pink and opaque—approximately another 3 to 4 minutes.
  4. Stir in the pesto sauce and the cooked pasta. Mix everything well until it’s all evenly coated. Don’t forget to season it with salt and pepper to taste!
  5. Serve it up hot, topped with a generous sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese. Enjoy!
