- 8 ounces pasta
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup pesto sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese for serving
Instructions
- Start by cooking the pasta according to the package instructions. Once it’s al dente, drain it and set it aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook them until they turn tender, which should take about 3 to 4 minutes.
- Toss in the shrimp and cook until they turn pink and opaque—approximately another 3 to 4 minutes.
- Stir in the pesto sauce and the cooked pasta. Mix everything well until it’s all evenly coated. Don’t forget to season it with salt and pepper to taste!
- Serve it up hot, topped with a generous sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese. Enjoy!
