Ingredients

- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 cup pastry cream
- Assorted fresh fruit (e.g., berries, kiwi, mango)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine flour, butter, powdered sugar, and salt in a bowl. Mix until crumbly.
- Add the egg yolk and milk, mixing until a dough forms.
- Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface and press it into small tartlet pans.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the crust turns golden. Allow the tart shells to cool completely.
- Fill each tart shell with pastry cream.
- Top with assorted fresh fruit.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days. Add fruit just before serving to keep the crust crisp.
