Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup pastry cream
  • Assorted fresh fruit (e.g., berries, kiwi, mango)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine flour, butter, powdered sugar, and salt in a bowl. Mix until crumbly.
  3. Add the egg yolk and milk, mixing until a dough forms.
  4. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface and press it into small tartlet pans.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the crust turns golden. Allow the tart shells to cool completely.
  6. Fill each tart shell with pastry cream.
