Ingredients
- Tortillas
- Ground beef or shredded chicken or cheese
- Onion, chopped
- Garlic, minced
- Spices (cumin, coriander, salt, pepper)
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Heat oil over medium heat in a skillet.
- Add chopped onions and minced garlic, then sauté until they soften and turn fragrant.
- Add your choice of ground beef or shredded chicken, and cook until it browns nicely.
- Season the mixture with cumin, coriander, salt, and pepper to taste.
- Take a tortilla and place some of the filling in the center. Fold it over and seal the edges tightly.
- Heat more oil in a separate pan and fry the sambusas until they turn a golden brown on both sides.
- Drain the sambusas on paper towels and serve while hot!
Notes
Ensure to seal the edges well to prevent any filling from leaking out during frying. Avoid overcrowding the pan for even frying.
