Description

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1 cup almond milk (or any milk of choice)
  • 1 teaspoon matcha green tea powder
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the banana, spinach, almond milk, matcha powder, and honey or maple syrup if you’re using it.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. If desired, add ice cubes and blend again until icy.
  4. Pour into a glass and enjoy!

Notes

For a thicker smoothie, use less milk. You can also add other greens like kale or Swiss chard for a variation.
