Description

A refreshing and easy-to-make mango sorbet that’s perfect for hot summer days.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Grab a saucepan and combine the sugar and water over medium heat. Stir occasionally until the sugar dissolves completely.
  2. Remove the saucepan from the heat and let it cool down completely.
  3. Blend the diced mangoes, the cooled sugar syrup, and the lemon juice until smooth and creamy.
  4. Pour the mango mixture into a shallow dish and pop it in the freezer for about 2 hours.
  5. Scrape the mixture after two hours with a fork to create a fluffy texture. Freeze again until firm.
  6. Scoop out the sorbet and serve in bowls or cones.

Notes

Garnish with fresh mint leaves or toasted coconut for extra flair. Serve with tropical fruits or a drizzle of chocolate syrup.
