Instructions

  1. Prepare the crust: Start by mixing the graham cracker crumbs with the melted butter in a bowl. Stir until the crumbs absorb the butter and resemble wet sand. Press this mixture into the bottom of your trifle dish.
  2. Whip the cream: In a chilled bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  3. Mix the cream cheese filling: Beat the softened cream cheese until it’s smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar, followed by the lime juice, zest, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
  4. Fold in the whipped cream: Gently fold the whipped cream into the lime mixture.
  5. Layer the trifle: Layer half of the lime mixture over the graham cracker crust. Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs on top, then repeat with the remaining lime mixture.
  6. Chill before serving: Cover the trifle and refrigerate for at least 120 minutes.
