Description

A delicious blend of juicy meatballs, fresh veggies, and creamy tzatziki sauce, perfect for a family feast or casual get-together.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef or lamb
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 egg
  • Olive oil for frying
  • Tzatziki sauce
  • Cooked rice or quinoa
  • Diced cucumbers and tomatoes
  • Feta cheese

Instructions

  1. Start by placing the ground meat, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, minced garlic, oregano, salt, pepper, and egg into a large bowl. Mix everything together using your hands until just combined.
  2. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 to 1.5 inches in size.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the meatballs for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Serve the meatballs over a bed of cooked rice or quinoa. Top generously with diced cucumbers, tomatoes, feta cheese, and a drizzle of tzatziki sauce.

Notes

For added flavor, customize your bowls with toppings like olives or sliced red onion. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
