Description

Ingredients

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the unsalted butter and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, stirring well after each addition.
  4. Pour in the vanilla extract and mix until combined.
  5. Whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  7. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
  8. Drop scoops of cookie dough onto the baking sheet, leaving space between each scoop.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until edges are set but centers remain soft.
  10. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
