Description

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Start by cooking the spaghetti according to the package instructions until it reaches that perfect al dente texture. Once done, drain it and set it aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. The moment that butter starts to sizzle, your kitchen will smell divine!
  3. Toss in the minced garlic and sauté for about one minute, keeping an eye on it to prevent burning.
  4. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink, about 2 to 3 minutes on each side.
  5. Pour the white wine into the skillet and let it simmer for a few minutes to enhance the sauce’s flavor.
  6. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes, mixing well until the cheese melts into the sauce.
  7. Next, toss in the cooked spaghetti, ensuring every strand is coated in the garlic butter sauce.
  8. Season with salt and pepper, sprinkle fresh parsley for garnish, and serve immediately.
