Description
A quick and delicious Garlic Butter Shrimp Scampi Pasta that combines succulent shrimp, fragrant garlic, and creamy Parmesan cheese.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz spaghetti
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Start by cooking the spaghetti according to the package instructions until it reaches that perfect al dente texture. Once done, drain it and set it aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. The moment that butter starts to sizzle, your kitchen will smell divine!
- Toss in the minced garlic and sauté for about one minute, keeping an eye on it to prevent burning.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink, about 2 to 3 minutes on each side.
- Pour the white wine into the skillet and let it simmer for a few minutes to enhance the sauce’s flavor.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes, mixing well until the cheese melts into the sauce.
- Next, toss in the cooked spaghetti, ensuring every strand is coated in the garlic butter sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper, sprinkle fresh parsley for garnish, and serve immediately.
Notes
Serve with extra Parmesan cheese and a fresh garden salad. Garlic bread pairs well too!
