Ingredients

- 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons flour (or more if needed)
- Olive oil spray
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Combine the chickpeas, onion, garlic, parsley, cilantro, cumin, coriander, salt, and pepper in a food processor and pulse until well combined but slightly chunky.
- Add flour to the mixture and mix until everything holds together. If wet, add more flour.
- Form small patties or balls using your hands.
- Spray the air fryer basket with olive oil and place the falafel in a single layer.
- Spray the tops of the falafel with more olive oil.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve in pita, wraps, or atop salads with your favorite toppings.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days or freeze uncooked falafel for up to three months.
