Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Shrimp
  • 12 oz Fettuccine
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup Lemon juice
  • 1 Lemon (sliced)
  • 4 tablespoon Butter
  • 2 tablespoons Cooking Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Minced garlic
  • ½ teaspoon Lemon Zest
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Black Pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the fettuccine pasta until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. While the pasta cooks, heat the cooking oil in a pan over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the oil and cook for about 2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  4. Melt the butter in the same pan with the garlic, then add the shrimp. Cook, stirring occasionally, until they turn opaque with some pink color, about 4-6 minutes.
  5. Pour in the lemon juice and sprinkle in the lemon zest, along with the Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper. Stir together until well combined.
  6. Add the cooked fettuccine to the pan and stir until the pasta is evenly coated in the garlic butter sauce.
  7. Garnish with parsley before serving.
