Description
A delightful dessert made with fresh strawberries, creamy pistachio magic, and crunchy konafah, drizzled with rich melted chocolate.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 quart of strawberries, sliced
- 1 jar (10.5 oz) of pistachio cream
- 1 package (17.6 oz) of frozen konafah, cut into pieces
- 2 tablespoons of salted butter
- Salt to taste
- Chocolate, melted (e.g., milk chocolate bar or chocolate chips)
- Chopped pistachios for topping
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chopped konafah dough, cooking in batches over medium-low heat for about 15-20 minutes, stirring often.
- Transfer the toasted konafah to a paper towel-lined dish and sprinkle lightly with salt.
- Mix the toasted konafah with the pistachio cream, adjusting based on taste.
- Melt the chocolate in a double boiler until smooth.
- Layer the ingredients in clear cups: start with sliced strawberries, add the konafah/pistachio mixture, drizzle with melted chocolate, and top with chopped pistachios.
- Repeat layering until desired height is reached.
Notes
Serve immediately for best freshness. If storing, keep in the fridge for up to 3 days, but expect some loss of crunch in the konafah.
