Description

Ingredients

  • 1 jar (10.5 oz) of pistachio cream
  • 1 package (17.6 oz) of frozen konafah, cut into pieces
  • 2 tablespoons of salted butter
  • Salt to taste
  • Chocolate, melted (e.g., milk chocolate bar or chocolate chips)
  • Chopped pistachios for topping

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped konafah dough, cooking in batches over medium-low heat for about 15-20 minutes, stirring often.
  3. Transfer the toasted konafah to a paper towel-lined dish and sprinkle lightly with salt.
  4. Mix the toasted konafah with the pistachio cream, adjusting based on taste.
  5. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler until smooth.
  6. Layer the ingredients in clear cups: start with sliced strawberries, add the konafah/pistachio mixture, drizzle with melted chocolate, and top with chopped pistachios.
  7. Repeat layering until desired height is reached.

Notes

Serve immediately for best freshness. If storing, keep in the fridge for up to 3 days, but expect some loss of crunch in the konafah.
