  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into chunks
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta: Start by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta and set aside.
  2. Sauté the chicken: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces, seasoning them with salt and pepper. Cook until the chicken is golden brown and fully cooked, about 7-10 minutes.
  3. Add garlic: Once the chicken is cooked, add the minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for about 1 minute, letting the garlic become fragrant but be careful not to burn it.
  4. Make the sauce: Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring until well combined. Bring the mixture to a simmer, letting it cook for about 3-4 minutes to thicken slightly.
  5. Incorporate cheese: Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese to the sauce, stirring continuously until the cheese melts and the sauce becomes creamy. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
  6. Combine: Finally, add the cooked pasta to the skillet. Toss everything together until the pasta is well coated in the creamy sauce.
  7. Serve and garnish: Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley for a pop of color (and flavor!) if desired.

Notes
