Crispy Philly Cheesesteak Grilled Wraps

  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x
  • Diet: None

Description

Delicious wraps filled with tender steak, sautéed peppers and onions, and melted cheese, all grilled to crispy perfection.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound thinly sliced steak (ribeye, flank, or sirloin)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 green bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 red bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 medium onion (thinly sliced)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 6 slices provolone cheese (or your preferred cheese)
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 tablespoons butter or olive oil (for grilling)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced peppers and onions to the skillet and sauté until they become tender, about 5–7 minutes. Push the vegetables to one side of the skillet.
  3. Add the sliced steak to the skillet. Season it with garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  4. Cook the steak until it’s browned and cooked through, about 4–5 minutes.
  5. Mix the vegetables back in with the steak and remove the skillet from heat.
  6. Lay a tortilla flat on a clean surface. Place a slice of cheese in the center and then add a generous portion of the steak and vegetable mixture on top.
  7. Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll it tightly into a burrito-style wrap. Repeat this process with the remaining tortillas and filling.
  8. Heat a griddle or grill pan over medium heat. Add butter or a little olive oil.
  9. Place the wraps seam-side down on the grill and cook for 2–3 minutes per side, pressing gently with a spatula until they turn golden brown and crispy.
  10. Cut the wraps in half for easy serving, and enjoy them warm with your favorite dipping sauces or sides.

Notes

For easy storage, keep leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the fridge or freeze for up to 2 months.
