  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Toss the trimmed green beans with the olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes in a large bowl.
  3. Spread the green beans out in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  4. Roast in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes or until tender and slightly crispy.

  6. Return the baking sheet to the oven and roast for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese melts and turns golden brown.
