Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Toss the trimmed green beans with the olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes in a large bowl.
- Spread the green beans out in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Roast in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes or until tender and slightly crispy.
- Remove the baking sheet from the oven and sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the green beans.
- Return the baking sheet to the oven and roast for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese melts and turns golden brown.
- Serve the green beans warm.
