- 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 (8 oz) cans Pillsbury crescent dinner rolls
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for topping)
- 2 Tbsp ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix together 1/2 cup sugar and 2 Tbsp cinnamon for the topping in a small bowl. Set it aside.
- Beat the cream cheese in a mixing bowl until smooth. Add the sugar, egg, and vanilla, then blend until creamy and well combined.
- Spray a 9×13″ baking pan with non-stick spray and sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over the bottom.
- Roll out one can of crescent dough on waxed paper, then press it into the bottom of the prepared pan, covering the cinnamon sugar layer completely.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough, reaching all the corners.
- Roll out the second can of crescent dough and place it gently over the cream cheese layer, covering it entirely.
- Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon sugar mixture on top, making sure every inch gets that delightful sweetness.
- Bake for about 30 minutes or until the bars turn golden brown and start to bubble slightly around the edges.
Notes
Serve warm with drizzles of caramel or chocolate sauce for an enhanced indulgence.
