- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup mashed ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Combine the mashed bananas, peanut butter, and honey (or maple syrup) in a large bowl.
- Add the rolled oats, cinnamon, and salt, then mix well to combine.
- Stir in the chocolate chips and nuts if you’re using them.
- Spread the mixture evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, stirring halfway through, until it turns golden brown.
- Allow to cool completely before breaking it into clusters. Store in an airtight container.
Notes
Use ripe bananas for best flavor. Stir halfway through baking for even cooking. Store in an airtight container for up to two weeks.
