- 1 packet active dry yeast

- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

- 1 cup chocolate custard (store-bought or homemade)
- Powdered sugar for sprinkling
Instructions
- Combine the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt in a large bowl.
- Whisk together the egg, milk, and melted butter in a separate bowl.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover it, and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
- Punch down the dough and roll it out to about 1/2-inch thickness.
- Cut the dough into circles using a doughnut cutter or cookie cutters.
- Let the circles rise for another 30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the doughnuts until golden brown on both sides (about 2-3 minutes per side).
- Drain the doughnuts on paper towels to soak up excess oil.
- Fill each doughnut with chocolate custard using a piping bag.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
