  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup strawberries, chopped
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Once melted, remove from the heat and stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  3. Mix in a separate bowl the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add this to the butter mixture, stirring until combined.
  4. Fold in the chopped strawberries and chocolate chips.
  5. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan.
  6. Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow the brownies to cool before topping with fresh strawberries and a drizzle of melted chocolate if desired.

Notes

Serve with vanilla ice cream for an indulgent treat. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days or freeze for up to three months.
