Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast, cooked and shredded
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Heat some oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté the onion and garlic until translucent, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add the shredded chicken, dried thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Mix well and let flavors meld for a few minutes.
  4. Dust your countertop with flour and roll out the puff pastry sheet. Cut into squares, about 4×4 inches.
  5. Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture in the center of each square.
  6. Fold the pastry over the filling and seal the edges using a fork.
  7. Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and crisp.
  9. Cool for a minute before serving warm.
