- 1 pound chicken breast, cooked and shredded
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Heat some oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté the onion and garlic until translucent, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add the shredded chicken, dried thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Mix well and let flavors meld for a few minutes.
- Dust your countertop with flour and roll out the puff pastry sheet. Cut into squares, about 4×4 inches.
- Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture in the center of each square.
- Fold the pastry over the filling and seal the edges using a fork.
- Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and crisp.
- Cool for a minute before serving warm.
