- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 eggs, beaten
- Cooking spray or oil for baking
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Mix the breadcrumbs, cayenne pepper, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Prepare each chicken piece by dipping it into the beaten eggs.
- Coat the chicken pieces in the breadcrumb mixture.
- Arrange the coated chicken nuggets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Add cooking spray or drizzle some oil over the nuggets.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Serve with a side of ranch or blue cheese sauce.
Notes
These nuggets are best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in the fridge for 3-4 days or frozen for up to 2 months.
