  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x
  • Diet: None

Description

A creamy and flavorful pasta dish featuring Cajun shrimp and steak, perfect for family gatherings or date nights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the steak with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Add the steak to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil to the skillet and toss in the shrimp. Sprinkle with Cajun seasoning, and sauté until the shrimp are pink and cooked through, about 2-3 minutes. Remove the shrimp and set aside with the steak.
  4. Lower the heat and add the minced garlic to the skillet, cooking until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  5. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring well to combine, and let it simmer for a couple of minutes.
  6. Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
  7. Return the cooked steak and shrimp to the skillet, then add the cooked fettuccine. Toss everything together to coat the pasta in that luscious sauce.
  8. Adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley for a pop of color and a fresh finish.

Notes

Pair with crispy garlic bread and a green salad for a complete meal. For a spicy kick, consider adding crushed red pepper flakes.
