Description
Indulge in a creamy and flavorful Cajun Shrimp and Steak Alfredo Pasta that impresses anyone at the table.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 lb steak, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Start by cooking the fettuccine pasta according to the package instructions. Once done, drain the pasta and set it aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and steak, and sprinkle them with Cajun seasoning. Cook until the shrimp are pink and the steak is browned, which should take about 5 minutes.
- Next, add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes. The garlic will start to release its wonderful aroma!
- Reduce the heat to low, then pour in the heavy cream and add the grated Parmesan cheese. Stir everything together until the cheese melts and the sauce becomes beautifully creamy.
- Toss in the cooked pasta, coating it in that rich, decadent sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste; adjust according to your preference.
- Serve hot, garnishing with fresh parsley to add a beautiful touch and a hint of freshness!
Notes
For a lighter version, reduce the cream. Add more vegetables for extra nutrition.
