Description
A quick and delicious recipe featuring tender steak bites paired with garlic herb potatoes, perfect for a cozy dinner or a gathering.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb steak (sirloin or filet mignon), cut into bite-sized pieces
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried herbs (e.g., rosemary, thyme)
- 1 lb baby potatoes, halved
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the steak pieces, season with salt and pepper, and cook for about 3-4 minutes, or until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter, minced garlic, and dried herbs to the skillet. Stir for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the halved baby potatoes to the skillet and toss to coat them in the garlic herb butter. Cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender and golden brown.
- Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss to combine with the potatoes. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve immediately.
Notes
Ensure not to overcrowd the pan when cooking steak for optimal browning. Fresh herbs can be used instead of dried for enhanced flavor.
