- 1½ cups mashed bananas (approx. 3 bananas)
- ½ cup nut butter (almond, peanut, or sunflower)
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- ½ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×9 baking pan with parchment paper.
- Combine the mashed bananas, nut butter, rolled oats, cinnamon, vanilla extract, maple syrup, chocolate chips, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Mix until well incorporated.
- Transfer this mixture into your lined baking pan and flatten into an even layer.
- Sprinkle a few more chocolate chips on top if desired.
- Bake for 18 to 20 minutes or until the edges turn golden brown and the bars are set.
- Remove from the oven and let cool completely in the pan before slicing into squares.
Notes
For best results, use ripe bananas for added sweetness and don’t skip the parchment paper to prevent sticking.
