Description

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • Pink icing
  • Sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your donut pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix together the milk, egg, vanilla extract, and melted butter.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Fill your donut pan about halfway with batter.
  6. Place the pan in the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden.
  7. Let the donuts cool before removing them from the pan.
  8. Decorate with pink icing and sprinkles.

Notes

Don’t overmix the batter and use a piping bag for even donut shapes.
