Baked Taco Cups bring a delightful twist to traditional tacos, combining seasoned beef and cheese in crispy wonton wrappers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 package wonton wrappers
  • 1 taco seasoning packet
  • Cooking spray or oil
  • Optional toppings: sour cream, salsa, diced tomatoes, lettuce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned, then drain excess fat.
  3. Sprinkle the taco seasoning over the beef and add a little water as per packet instructions; stir until well combined.
  4. Mix in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
  5. Spray a muffin tin with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  6. Place a wonton wrapper in each muffin cup, pressing to fit.
  7. Fill each wonton cup with the beef and cheese mixture, avoiding overfilling.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the wrappers are crispy and golden.
