  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 12 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon parsley (finely chopped)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Mix the freshly squeezed lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic, and Dijon mustard until well combined.
  3. Coat the salmon fillets with this marinade and season with ground black pepper and salt.
  4. Place the marinated salmon in a skillet or baking dish and bake for about 10-15 minutes, or until cooked through and flaky.
  5. Melt the unsalted butter in a saucepan over low-medium heat.
  6. Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté until it becomes fragrant—about 2 minutes.
  7. Stir in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle boil, allowing it to thicken slightly. If you want, add more lemon juice to brighten the flavor.
  8. Once the salmon is fully cooked, pour the creamy lemon sauce over the fillets.
  9. Let the dish rest for 5-10 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld together.
