Ingredients
Scale
- 1.5 lbs Salmon Fillet, center-cut (680g)
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil (15ml)
- 1/2 tsp Kosher Salt (3g)
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper, freshly cracked (1g)
- 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter (113g)
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice (45ml)
- 2 tbsp Fresh Parsley, chopped (8g), plus more for garnish
- 1 Lemon, thinly sliced for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly oil a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, melt the butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and cook for about 60 seconds until fragrant. Remove from heat and whisk in the lemon juice and 2 tablespoons of chopped parsley.
- Pat the salmon fillet completely dry with paper towels. Place in the prepared baking dish and drizzle with olive oil. Season generously with salt and black pepper.
- Pour about three-quarters of the garlic butter sauce over the salmon, coating it evenly. Lay the thinly sliced lemon on top.
- Bake the salmon for 12-15 minutes until it turns opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove from the oven and drizzle with the remaining garlic butter sauce. Garnish with extra parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
