Arayes – Meat Stuffed Pita

Description

Crispy pitas stuffed with a flavorful meat mixture, perfect for special occasions and everyday dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 package Pita bread
  • 1 lb Ground meat (beef, lamb, or chicken)
  • 1 Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup Parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill or oven to medium-high heat.
  2. Mix the ground meat with onion, garlic, parsley, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cut the pita bread in half and gently open each pocket.
  4. Stuff each pita half with the meat mixture.
  5. Brush the outside of the stuffed pitas with olive oil.
  6. Place the stuffed pitas on the grill or in the oven.
  7. Grill for 5-7 minutes on each side until cooked through and crispy.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Serve with hummus, tabbouleh salad, or tzatziki for extra flavor.
