Ingredients

  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, seasoning with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Add the marinara sauce to the cooked beef and simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Mix the ricotta cheese, eggs, and a pinch of salt in a bowl until well combined.
  6. Layer 1/3 of the beef sauce in the bottom of a baking dish.
  7. Place 3 noodles over the sauce, then spread half of the ricotta mixture, followed by 1/3 of the mozzarella and Parmesan.
  8. Repeat the layers, ending with noodles and remaining beef sauce on top.
  9. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  10. Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until cheese is golden and bubbly.
  11. Let the lasagna sit for 10 minutes before slicing.
