Description
Creamy whipped feta topped with sweet roasted grapes, crunchy walnuts, and a drizzle of spicy hot honey an elegant, crowd-pleasing appetizer that’s as stunning as it is delicious.
Ingredients
8 oz feta cheese (block, not crumbled)
1/2 cup Greek yogurt (or cream cheese for richer texture)
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp honey
Freshly ground black pepper to taste
For the Roasted Grapes:
2 cups red seedless grapes
1 tbsp olive oil
Pinch of salt
Toppings:
1/3 cup chopped toasted walnuts
2 tbsp hot honey (or honey mixed with a pinch of chili flakes)
Fresh thyme or rosemary for garnish
Crusty bread or pita chips for serving
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Place grapes on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt.
3. Roast for 15–20 minutes until grapes are soft and slightly blistered.
4. Meanwhile, combine feta, Greek yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, honey, and pepper in a food processor.
5. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down sides as needed.
6. Spread whipped feta onto a serving platter or shallow bowl.
7. Top with roasted grapes, toasted walnuts, and a drizzle of hot honey.
8. Garnish with fresh thyme or rosemary and serve with bread or pita chips.
Notes
For extra heat, add a few drops of chili oil instead of hot honey.
Use roasted figs or cherries in place of grapes for a seasonal twist.
Make ahead: whip the feta and roast the grapes up to a day in advance, then assemble before serving.
