Ingredients
1 lb ground beef (80/20)
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
½ tsp smoked paprika
1 tbsp olive oil
1 cup low-sodium beef broth
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 small onion, sliced
2 tbsp flour
Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, mix ground beef with Worcestershire, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
2. Form into 4 patties, then chill for 15 minutes.
3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
4. Sear patties for 3–4 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
5. Add sliced onions to the skillet and cook until golden.
6. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute.
7. Slowly add broth and Dijon mustard, stirring until thickened.
8. Return patties to pan and simmer for 10–12 minutes.
9. Check internal temperature reaches 160°F.
10. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
