Description
Tender, fall-off-the-bone oven-baked ribs seasoned with a smoky spice rub and finished with a sticky glaze. Easy, juicy, and unforgettable!
Ingredients
2 lbs beef back ribs or lamb ribs
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp brown sugar (or honey)
1 tbsp smoked paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
½ tsp cumin
Salt & pepper to taste
Optional glaze or BBQ sauce
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
2. Pat ribs dry and trim excess silver skin.
3. Mix spices and oil into a rub, then coat ribs thoroughly.
4. Place ribs on a foil-lined baking sheet, bone-side down.
5. Cover tightly with foil and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours.
6. Remove foil, brush with glaze or BBQ sauce.
7. Bake uncovered at 400°F for 10–15 minutes.
8. Let rest 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Use boneless ribs or lamb breast if preferred.
Swap BBQ for gochujang glaze or garlic-lemon butter.
Serve with garlic mashed potatoes or slaw.
