Description
This Stuffed Chicken Cordon Bleu Bake is a cheesy, golden casserole with juicy chicken, Swiss cheese, and a crispy breadcrumb topping.
Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup milk
2 large eggs
1 ½ cups breadcrumbs
2 tbsp melted butter
2 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
Salt & black pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13 dish.
2. Pat chicken dry, slice thin, and season.
3. Layer half the chicken in the dish, top with half the cheese.
4. Repeat with remaining chicken and cheese.
5. Whisk milk, eggs, mustard, and spices. Pour over chicken.
6. Top with breadcrumbs mixed with melted butter.
7. Bake uncovered 40–45 minutes until golden.
8. Check chicken reaches 165°F internal temperature.
9. Rest 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
You can swap Swiss cheese with mozzarella or provolone.
For keto, replace breadcrumbs with almond flour and parmesan.
