Description
Soft, chewy, and delightfully pink these Strawberry Kiss Cookies are bursting with strawberry flavor and topped with a chocolate kiss! A pretty and easy cookie perfect for Valentine’s Day or any sweet occasion.
Ingredients
1 box strawberry cake mix (about 15.25 oz)
1/3 cup vegetable oil
2 large eggs
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup powdered sugar (for rolling)
24 Hershey’s Kisses (milk chocolate or white chocolate, unwrapped)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, mix together strawberry cake mix, oil, eggs, and vanilla until a thick dough forms.
3. Scoop 1-inch portions of dough and roll into balls.
4. Roll each ball lightly in powdered sugar to coat.
5. Place dough balls 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheet.
6. Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until cookies are puffed and just set (do not overbake).
7. Remove from oven and immediately press one chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie.
8. Allow cookies to cool on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
9. Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
Notes
For a fun twist, use white chocolate kisses or drizzle with melted chocolate.
Chill dough for 15 minutes before baking for perfectly shaped cookies.
These cookies freeze beautifully — just add the chocolate kiss after thawing.
