Description

These Strawberry Cinnamon Rolls are soft, swirled, and packed with fresh strawberry filling. A bright and fruity take on the classic cinnamon roll perfect for breakfast or brunch.


Ingredients

Dough:

2¼ tsp instant yeast

¾ cup warm milk

2½ cups all-purpose flour

1 egg

3 tbsp melted butter

¼ cup sugar

½ tsp salt

Strawberry Filling:

1½ cups chopped strawberries

⅓ cup sugar

1 tbsp cornstarch

2 tbsp softened butter

1 tbsp cinnamon

Optional Glaze:

½ cup powdered sugar

12 tbsp milk

¼ tsp vanilla extract


Instructions

1. In a bowl, activate yeast with warm milk and 1 tbsp sugar. Let sit 5 minutes.

2. Mix in egg, melted butter, flour, remaining sugar, and salt. Knead 8 minutes.

3. Cover and rise 1 hour until doubled.

4. Cook strawberries, sugar, and cornstarch over low heat until thick. Let cool.

5. Roll out dough and spread butter, cinnamon, and cooled strawberry filling.

6. Roll tightly and cut into 9 rolls. Place in greased dish and rise 30–45 minutes.

7. Bake at 350°F for 25–28 minutes.

8. Cool and drizzle with glaze if desired.

Notes

Use fresh or frozen strawberries—just drain frozen before using.

Great with cream cheese glaze or lemon zest added to frosting.

Store in the fridge and reheat in the microwave for best results.
