Ingredients
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup chopped fresh strawberries
1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
2. In a bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Beat in cream cheese until smooth, then add egg and vanilla.
4. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt.
5. Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined.
6. Gently fold in strawberries and white chocolate chips if using.
7. Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheets.
8. Bake for 12–14 minutes until edges are set and centers are soft.
9. Cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
Notes
Pat strawberries dry to prevent excess moisture.
Chill dough 30 minutes if cookies spread too much.
Store cookies refrigerated due to cream cheese.
