Description
A quick and flavorful pasta dish featuring shrimp, garlic, and cherry tomatoes, perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz linguine
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the linguine according to package instructions until it’s al dente. Drain and set it aside for later.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking until fragrant for about 1-2 minutes.
- Toss in the shrimp, seasoning them with salt and pepper. Cook the shrimp until they turn pink and opaque, approximately 3-4 minutes.
- Add the halved cherry tomatoes to the skillet and sauté until they start to blister, about 2 minutes.
- Combine the cooked linguine with the shrimp and tomatoes, tossing everything to ensure the pasta is well-coated in flavors.
- Adjust the seasoning to your taste, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.
Notes
For an elevated dish, serve with grated Parmesan cheese and a wedge of lemon on the side.
