Spicy Garlic Shrimp Pasta

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x
  • Diet: Pescatarian

Description

A quick and flavorful pasta dish featuring shrimp, garlic, and cherry tomatoes, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz linguine
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine according to package instructions until it’s al dente. Drain and set it aside for later.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking until fragrant for about 1-2 minutes.
  3. Toss in the shrimp, seasoning them with salt and pepper. Cook the shrimp until they turn pink and opaque, approximately 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add the halved cherry tomatoes to the skillet and sauté until they start to blister, about 2 minutes.
  5. Combine the cooked linguine with the shrimp and tomatoes, tossing everything to ensure the pasta is well-coated in flavors.
  6. Adjust the seasoning to your taste, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.

Notes

For an elevated dish, serve with grated Parmesan cheese and a wedge of lemon on the side.
