Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease mini muffin tin or prepare silicone molds.
Whisk together cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
In separate bowl, whisk together buttermilk, vegetable oil, and egg.
Gradually add wet ingredients to dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
Spoon batter into prepared mini muffin tin, filling each ¾ full. Bake 10-12 minutes until golden and toothpick comes out clean.
Whisk together melted butter, honey, and salt in small bowl.
While poppers are still warm, brush generously with honey butter glaze. Serve warm.
