Ingredients
1 pound 80/20 ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning mix
1 pre-made pizza dough, room temperature
2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
½ cup salsa
2 cups Mexican cheese blend, shredded
1 cup lettuce, shredded
1 large tomato, diced
¼ cup red onion, finely diced
¼ cup sour cream
2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped

Sliced jalapeños
Diced avocado
Hot sauce
Lime wedges
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C) and place 12-inch cast-iron skillet inside to heat.
2. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in large skillet over medium-high heat.
3. Add ground beef and cook 6-8 minutes, breaking apart until completely browned.
4. Drain excess fat and add taco seasoning with ¼ cup water.
5. Simmer 3-4 minutes until liquid evaporates and meat is well-coated.
6. Carefully remove hot cast-iron skillet from oven using oven mitts.
7. Add remaining tablespoon olive oil and swirl to coat bottom completely.
8. Stretch pizza dough to fit skillet, pressing up sides to create rim.
9. Spread salsa evenly over dough, then add seasoned ground beef.
10. Top with shredded Mexican cheese blend.
11. Bake 12-15 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
12. Let cool 5 minutes, then top with lettuce, tomato, onion, sour cream, and cilantro.
13. Slice and serve immediately while hot.
Notes
Pre-heat the cast-iron skillet in the oven for the crispiest bottom crust.
Drain ground beef thoroughly to prevent soggy crust.
Add fresh toppings after baking to maintain their texture.
