Description

This Shrimp Scampi Pasta is quick, flavorful, and made with garlic butter, lemon, and tender shrimp for the perfect weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

12 oz linguine or spaghetti

4 tbsp unsalted butter

1 tbsp olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup chicken broth

Juice of 1 lemon

1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt & black pepper

1/4 cup parsley, chopped

Grated Parmesan cheese for garnish


Instructions

1. Cook pasta until al dente and drain.

2. Season shrimp with salt and pepper.

3. Heat olive oil and cook shrimp 1–2 minutes per side. Remove.

4. Melt butter in skillet, add garlic, cook until fragrant.

5. Add chicken broth and lemon juice, simmer 2–3 minutes.

6. Return shrimp, toss with pasta until coated.

7. Garnish with parsley and Parmesan before serving.

Notes

Shrimp cooks very quickly—remove from heat once pink and opaque.

Reheat leftovers with a splash of chicken broth.
