Ingredients
1 tube (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
1 cup pecan halves, roughly chopped
1/3 cup light corn syrup
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 large egg, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Remove crescent dough from refrigeration 10-15 minutes before use.
3. Whisk together corn syrup, brown sugar, melted butter, beaten egg, vanilla, salt, and cinnamon until smooth.
4. Fold chopped pecans into the mixture gently.
5. Unroll crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles.
6. Place 1 tablespoon filling near wide end of each triangle, leaving small border.
7. Roll from wide end toward point, keeping filling contained.
8. Place on prepared baking sheet with points tucked under.
9. Brush tops with beaten egg for golden finish.
10. Bake 12-15 minutes, rotating pan halfway through.
11. Rest 5 minutes before transferring to cooling rack.
