Description
Crispy, golden-brown Parmesan-crusted chicken served with a rich, creamy garlic sauce the perfect combination of crunchy and smooth for an easy, restaurant-quality dinner at home.
Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 eggs, beaten
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
1. Pound chicken breasts to even thickness using a meat mallet.
2. In a shallow bowl, mix grated Parmesan, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
3. Dip each chicken breast into beaten eggs, then coat with the Parmesan-breadcrumb mixture.
4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
5. In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
6. Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine.
7. Add shredded Parmesan and Italian seasoning; simmer until sauce thickens slightly.
8. Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over it.
9. Simmer for 2–3 minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve hot.
Notes
For extra crispiness, finish the chicken under the broiler for 1–2 minutes.
Serve with pasta, mashed potatoes, or roasted vegetables.
You can substitute half-and-half for a lighter sauce or add a squeeze of lemon juice for brightness.
