  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: ½ teaspoon paprika or Italian seasoning (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness of about ¾ inch for consistent cooking.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix the mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Spread this mixture evenly on top of each chicken breast, ensuring full coverage.
  5. Place the chicken in the baking dish and sprinkle the optional paprika or Italian seasoning on top.
  6. Bake uncovered for 35–45 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the top is golden.
  7. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving to keep it juicy.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the mayonnaise mixture for a few hours before baking. You can also replace Parmesan cheese with cheddar or mozzarella for a different flavor.
