Maple Chai Glazed Scones are tender, buttery scones topped with a warm chai-spiced maple glaze, perfect for breakfast or brunch.
Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/3 cup sugar
1 tbsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, chilled and cubed
2/3 cup milk (or dairy-free alternative)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tsp chai spice mix
2–3 tbsp maple syrup
1–2 tbsp milk
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment
2. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl
3. Cut in chilled butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs
4. Add milk and vanilla, mix until just combined
5. Pat dough to 1-inch thickness and cut into wedges
6. Bake 15-18 minutes until golden
7. Cool for 5-10 minutes, then drizzle with maple chai glaze
