- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix the dry ingredients in a shallow bowl: bread crumbs, grated Parmesan, shredded mozzarella, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
- Prepare the egg mixture by whisking together the eggs and milk in another bowl.
- Dredge each chicken breast in the flour, coating both sides completely.
- Dip the floured chicken into the egg mixture, ensuring it’s entirely covered.
- Coat the egg-coated chicken in the breadcrumb mixture.
- Fry the chicken in a large skillet over medium-high heat for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
- Bake the chicken in a baking dish for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
Pairs well with garlic mashed potatoes, creamy risotto, or Caesar salad. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days.
